The Seated Calf Raise is a strength movement that targets your calves. Here's how to do it with clean form.

How to do the Seated Calf Raise

  1. Sit on the machine with the balls of your feet on the platform and the pads resting on your lower thighs.
  2. Press up onto your toes as high as possible, then lower your heels below the platform level.
  3. Pause briefly at the top and bottom to use the full range of motion.
  4. Keep the tempo slow and controlled; don't bounce out of the bottom.
